From biggest to smallest —or the other way around— a simple ordering game that builds your child's sense of comparison and logical sequence.

Make sure the objects used are completely safe and not a choking hazard if your child is still at the mouthing stage (under 3 years). Starting with just 3 sizes is easier for a child than starting with 5 at once.

Gather 4-5 safe objects of the same type but different sizes: spoons, large buttons, yarn balls, or even nesting dolls if you have them.

Scatter the objects in front of your child and ask them to line them up from biggest to smallest. Help at first with guiding questions like «which of these two is bigger?» instead of giving the correct order directly.

Once they master biggest-to-smallest, ask them to reverse the order to smallest-to-biggest. This activity builds the concept of relative size (bigger/smaller) in your child, an important foundation for early logical and mathematical thinking.
