A pronoun is a word that refers to a person or thing without naming it. Instead of saying “Ahmad plays, Ahmad eats, Ahmad sleeps,” we can say “Ahmad plays, he eats, he sleeps” — avoiding repetition.
The main Arabic personal pronouns are: «أنا» (I), «أنتَ» (you, masculine), «أنتِ» (you, feminine), «هو» (he), «هي» (she), «نحن» (we), «أنتم»/«أنتنّ» (you plural), and «هم»/«هنّ» (they).
Example: “I love reading” (أنا أحبّ القراءة), “You love drawing” (أنتَ تحبّ الرسم), “She loves singing” (هي تحبّ الغناء). Try replacing names with the right pronoun in everyday sentences with your child.
