On a school camping trip to the mountains, a group of friends reached an old wooden rope bridge stretching across a deep valley full of green trees. The bridge swayed a little with every step, and some of the children hesitated to cross.

Salma stood at the start of the bridge, her heart pounding with fear. The guide said reassuringly, “The bridge is completely safe and well inspected, but we'll cross slowly, one at a time, holding the side ropes firmly.”

Her friends Omar and Reem encouraged her, saying, “We're right here beside you, one step at a time.” Salma took a deep breath and began crossing slowly, keeping her eyes fixed on the far side instead of looking down.

When Salma finally reached the other side, everyone cheered for her, and she felt an enormous sense of pride. “That was scary,” she said, catching her breath, “but I did it!” The group celebrated together, and Salma learned that courage means moving forward even when you're afraid.
