Atop the mountain grew a great forest of tall pine trees. Every evening, when a cool breeze blew, the trees swayed gently and whispered to one another in a soft rustling voice.

There was a young little pine named Sana, newly grown, who was afraid of the great forest's darkness. She asked the tall tree beside her, “What if someone loses their way in the dark?” The old tree answered warmly, “We are always here with you — our branches intertwine as if we're holding each other's hands.”

The tall trees began whispering an old story to Sana, about a little deer who once slept beneath their shade on a cold night, and how they sheltered him from the wind until morning. Sana felt safe listening, and her leaves slowly began to settle.

As midnight drew near, the rustling stopped completely, and the whole forest fell into a beautiful silence. Sana slept among her tall sisters, dreaming of a sunny tomorrow when her branches would grow taller still.
